i miss mauritius because it was so pretty, and beachy, and mountain-y, and greeeeeen, not to say that singapore isn't green but mauritius was green in a kind of rugged, untamed way that was very nice to look at! (: and singapore is just kind of too cosmopolitan. mauritius only had this small bay, nestled in a kind of valley (? there were valleys everywhere, anyway) with big tall buildings in it and it was kinda sorta like our cbd just...PRETTIER! 'cause they had like, le caudan waterfront (shopping, heh) and like hsbc/air mauritius buildings, etc.
